Emergencies and After Hours Services

Even the best pet owners are, from time to time, faced with situations involving their pets that require immediate attention.  In the event of an emergency during our normal office hours,  please call ahead, if possible, and proceed directly to our practice.

Unsure if your pet is experiencing an emergency or can wait until the next day for an appointment? We are pleased to provide after-hours emergency consultations from a licensed veterinary professional triage service. These individuals will help to determine whether or not a trip to the Emergency Vet is necessary. Call our main number: (208) 362-5329. Your call will automatically be connected to a licensed veterinary professional who will triage the emergency. No sitting on hold, no leaving a message with a service.

Many times, our on-call veterinary professional can help prevent unnecessary late-night trips to the ER, and will assist you with scheduling an appointment with Ada Animal Hospital at your earliest convenience.
